LivOnLabs, the producer, is a small family business founded by the couple Les and Cindy Nachman. Les Nachman, who was diagnosed with severe heart failure in 2002, owes his life to the myriad infusions of vitamin C given to him during his unconventional quest for better health. Because he noticed that the vitamin C infusions made a spectacular difference to his health, but at the same time severely limited his freedom of movement (time consuming, expensive, annoying), he looked for an oral supplement with the same effect as an infusion.
