I got called back for my stats to be recorded - height, weight, and blood pressure. Routine appointment, yes, but dreaded nonetheless. My brain urged me to "keep cool" and to relax. I was sure I was sweating profusely and turning red in anticipation. In the next few minutes, the nurse attempted to take my blood pressure not once, but twice - and to no avail. It was too slow to be captured.
